Keeping domestic breeds in private households is more popular than raising chickens. Ducks have tasty dietary meat, and many breeds are also characterized by a large number of eggs.
One of the main factors in the successful breeding of these waterfowl is the feed for ducks. It must be balanced and contain enough essential nutrients for rapid growth and proper development of the birds. The most convenient way out for many farmers is to purchase commercial compound feeds that already contain all the necessary nutrients. Such products are usually sold in the form of croup or pellets, which makes them easy to transport and store, as well as in determining the daily dosage for feeding birds.

Successful development
For the period of active growth, which begins on the tenth day of life, the feed for ducks should have a sufficient proportion of easily digestible calcium. This is most often bone meal. The total weight of food consumed by the bird per day increases almost threefold and reaches 70 g.
Duck from 1 month is considered an adult and will receive appropriate nutrition. The basis of the diet should be corn - at least half of the composition of the feed.
